Home is my personal narration showing the lingering tension after having to rebuild our home due to an uncontrollable event, Hurricane Sandy. This home is built on a precarious base that looks to give in at any moment. The work is a small metal replica of my house with rust build up and water lines sitting precariously on top of stacked glass tiles. The rusted house has a new shining foundation but even when raised and out of harm's way the tension that damage may occur again can weigh heavily on the mind. After a collapse of the sculpture it will be rebuilt to have a different foundation. There is no glue or adhesive in this piece.
